Pauline Vidal is an Africa team researcher. She is the Research Facilitator of the Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH) in East Africa, an initiative of the Refugee Studies Centre at the University of Oxford. At RLRH, she provides training and mentorship to refugee researchers, and supports the implementation of a study on Refugee-Led Organisations in East Africa (RLOs). Prior to joining the RLRH, she was the Research Manager of the Independent Monitoring, Research and Evidence Facility (IMREF), where she led six studies exploring protection-related challenges faced by transit migrants on the Central Mediterranean Route. She has conducted fieldwork with people affected by migration and displacement in Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and Mauritania. She is a graduate of the double master’s program in International Affairs between SciencesPo Paris and the London School of Economics. Pauline is based in Tunis, Tunisia.
