We have just released our Annual Report and financial accounts for the year of 2022, detailing the activities we conducted to support asylum decisions that are based on fair process and accurate information.

2022 was a particularly meaningful year for Asylos. Through a project transfer and subsequent closure of our long-term project partner, Asylum Research Centre Foundation, we have made significant progress towards the creation of a single centre of expertise on COI in the UK and beyond. As part of the transfer, we have broadened our portfolio of activities to include quality review of COI that is published by governments and intergovernmental organisations.

Our activities in 2022 broadly fell into the following categories:

• Consistently filled COI gaps
• Built COI research capacity
• Monitored government-produced COI
• Launched emergency responses to situations in Afghanistan and Ukraine
• Improved the accessibility and reach of high-quality COI
