We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for a new staff member.

Asylos is looking for an ambitious Operations Assistant based In the Netherlands or the UK with attention to detail and a passion for human rights and asylum.

The Operations Assistant will work closely with Asylos’ staff team in the Netherlands and the UK. Under the supervision of the Director, the new staff member will ensure that our front desk infrastructure operates smoothly and that the staff team has the tools and administrative support they require.

This is a part-time (3 days/week) paid position, starting preferably on July 1, 2022 and lasting for two years initially (subject to renewal).

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Respond to emails that come into info@ email inbox
  • Approve database registrations and ensure registered database users have access to accounts
  • Schedule weekly staff meetings and organise other staff gatherings
  • Support volunteer and staff recruitment
  • Draft infographics and other social media posts 
  • Conduct research into external services and software options as required
  • Support conference preparations, e.g. organising venue, catering, technical support
  • Clean out and maintain archives and databases as required
  • Assist all staff members with ad hoc inquiries
