Daphné Bouteillet-Paquet is the Vice Chair of the Board of Asylos. As of January 2020, Daphné works as a Project Coordinator on Labour Migration at the IOM Benelux country office. Previously, she worked for more than 4 years as a Senior Legal Adviser at the European Council on Refugees and Exiles. Holder of a PhD on the Common European Asylum System from the University La Sorbonne (2000), Daphné has acquired a rich working experience in the field of asylum and migration – both as a legal practitioner and as a policy expert. Prior joining ECRE, Daphné was Senior Advocacy Adviser at Save the Children EU Office, in charge of the legal and policy work related to migrant children. She has also worked for Amnesty International Office for European Institutions. For four years, she worked as an independent consultant in the Balkans and carried out research and trainings activities under technical assistance programmes implemented by the EU, UNODC, UNICEF, UNDP and IOM.
