Asylos is looking for an ambitious fundraiser based in Amsterdam with an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising.

The Fundraiser will work closely with the Asylos Director based in Amsterdam, the Network Coordinator and UK consultants based in London and with the volunteer community. Under the supervision of the Director, s/he will independently manage and develop Asylos’ fundraising portfolio.

This is a part-time (2 days/week) paid position, starting no later than January 4, 2021 and lasting for six months (subject to renewal).

Your tasks:

• Develop and implement new ways to generate income for Asylos
• Manage and develop Asylos’ portfolio of trusts and foundation donors
• Develop Asylos’ portfolio of corporate donors
• Develop grant applications and create presentation materials (incl. statistics and infographics)
• Plan and deliver pitches to prospective donors
• Manage and update databases to record donor contact and preference information
• Make risk analyses and balance time-cost ratio to focus effort on the fundraising activities that are most appropriate and will have the highest chance of success
• Monitor and evaluate fundraising results, spotting trends and adapting methods as required

Further strong assets are:

• Experience of independently managing a portfolio of trust and foundations, including prospecting, stewardship, and reporting on income
• Academic qualification and/or practical experience in human rights and/or migration
• Experience of working for a small non-profit or charitable organisation

The position will be remunerated at a maximum of 3,000 EUR / month (gross) FTE.
