Alexandra Dufresne is a Trustee of Asylos. She is a lawyer specialising in refugee, immigration, and child law and policy. She taught seminars in law and policy at Yale from 2006-2015 and currently teaches law at several Swiss institutions of higher learning. Alexandra worked as the CLINIC Detention Attorney at Boston College Law School, where she supervised students in the representation of refugees detained by the Department of Homeland Security. She also led state-level legislative campaigns on behalf of vulnerable children and served on the Board of a leading refugee resettlement nonprofit in the U.S. Alexandra graduated from Yale College in 1996 and received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1999. She clerked for the Hon. Martha Craig Daughtrey of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit from 2001-2002.
