Serena Sorrenti

Serena Sorrenti is one of our Asia Team Coordinators. She holds an MSc in South Asian Studies from Lund University and is interested in the gender dimension of forced migration, having done research with Afghan refugee women in New Delhi and worked as Gender Consultant for UNFPA in Istanbul. She is based in Rome where she works with INTERSOS on West Africa and is frequently on placement in Central African Republic. She speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish, Swedish and Chinese.
